The following three options are manufactured:
– Multiple disc (or multi-disc): more suitable for applications in oil bath or dry at low speed.
– With friction rings: only for dry applications.
– With front teeth, for applications that require a micro switch that indicates an overload.
All of our limiters are designed to adjust torque.
The adjustment can be manual or pneumatic and on request hydraulic or electromagnetic.
A torque limiter is a device that protects and, if necessary, stops the transmission, whenever there are overloads or accidental stops that can cause malfunctions and damage to the transmission.
When these overloads occur, the limiter decouples the motor from the driven component.
