FU-Eaton-Airflex WCB-WCS Multidisc Pneumatic Brake – Transmissible torque up to 304,830 Nm. Thermal capacity up to 1,940 kW. They are brakes applied by pneumatic pressure and are water cooled. They are designed for applications that require high thermal absorption. Its design incorporates a copper alloy that quickly transmits heat to the water circulation. They are used for high duty braking and tension applications, such as those found in metal and paper processing, as well as for cable tension control, marine moorings and winch equipment. WCs can also be used as absorption dynamometers.
