FU-Eaton-Airflex WCB/WCS Multidisc Hydraulic Brakes – Transmissible torque up to 304,830 Nm. Thermal capacity up to 1,940 kW. They are spring-applied and water-cooled brakes.
Designed for applications that require high thermal absorption. Its design incorporates a copper alloy that quickly transmits heat to the water circulation.
They are used for high-duty braking and stress applications, such as those found in metal and paper processing. Also for tension control of cables, moorings in the marina and winch equipment.
WCs can also be used as absorption dynamometers.
