FU Hilliard Electric Lift Guide Brakes

FU Hilliard MK Electric Hoist Guide Brakes are designed for use on cranes, conveyors or other devices requiring a spring-applied and electromagnetically released brake. This is a direct acting braking system designed for maintenance and emergency stopping in guide rail or disc brake applications.

The patented MK brake incorporates an electromagnetic coil that uses a voltage drop circuit to minimize current consumption and heat dissipation when the brake is released.

MK guide and disc brakes are direct acting with a single moving part. Can be configured for various thickness rails or discs. They are easy to install, manual release screws included. They are equipped with a microswitch to control the status of the brakes.
